Essex Rescue began operations in October of 1971. We are an all-volunteer organization that responds to over 1,200 emergency medical calls per year. We primarily serve the towns of Essex, Essex Jct., Jericho, Underhill, and Westford. We also provide backup services to surrounding communities such as Winooski, Williston, Richmond, Colchester, and South Burlington. Essex Rescue is proud to be in service 24 hrs per day/365 days per year providing BLS (Basic life support) and ALS (Advanced life support) to any patient in need of emergency services.
